The Guardian of the Eastern Dark

Here´s a cover I did some months ago for "The Phantom", one of the coolest characters ever!
Created by Lee Falk in 1936, The Ghost Who Walks is the first masked hero of the history of comic books.

Buena Leo! Éste dibujo ya lo había visto en b&n, pero gana mucho con el color. Te digo algo, con esos dos bichos haciendote el aguante... quien necesita pistolas!

I've read your story of Goliath and I thought the art was absolutely brilliant! I really dig your stuff and I think you guys down in Argentina have some of the finest cartoonists around!

And Thanks a lot Richard, I´m glad you liked D&G! Don´t forget to get a copy of the last chapter sometime on 2008...is the GRAND FINALE! ;)And I agree, there are excellent cartoonists here in Argentina.

Hello, Leonel,I've been a fan of "David and Goliath" and "Valkries" due to you georgous artwork. (I hope that these 2 excellent comic book titles would be finished to meet an end to their stories someday.)

I love the beautiful blueish background and the pose the Phantom uses with the guns. And the tiger and the wolf -- WOW! They look like they are about to kick some bad ass, snarling and being good scary ferocious brutes. They're wonderfully drawn. I wouldn't want be on their bad side. ;-)

By the way, Leonel, do you have an email? I would like to discuss more fan-stuff with you.

Chaosboy: Thanks man!
Nicolás: ¡Muchas Gracias! Tenés cosas muy interesantes en tu blog. ¡Felicitaciones!
Tim: Thanks a lot man!
Bluecollie: Thanks!I´m glad you liked D&G and Valkyries. You´ll be able to know the end of D&G very soon. And about Valkyries, all I can say is that the script is gettin´better and better. Issue #3 would be really cool (We´re talking about the Gods of Asgard fighting the evil creatures of Hel, you know what I mean?:)
And this is the best media to talk about all fan related stuff you want, so ask away my friend! I´ll be more than pleased to answer your questions (If that don´t imply to spoil anything from the scripts I´m working on right now ;)
Benjatoon (somos vecinos), Nahuel...¡Chás Gracias muchachos!.
