A boy and his winged, giant lion...

-This is just a little sneak peak of the upcoming fourth chapter of “David & Goliath”, written by the talented Jay Juch and drawn by Me.
The first three chapters of D&G were published by Image Comics some years ago, and after a long wait, we’re finally closing the book with a very special issue.
Inked by Eduardo Lemos, Mauro Vargas, and colored by Javier Tartaglia, the last episode of this story will be hitting stores during the year, so stay tuned for more news!

Hi Everybody! It´s been a loooong time since I´ve last posted something on the blog. I know,I have no excuse...sorry guys.
This time I´m showing you some pages of a project that´s very special to me: "David & Goliath"
For those who followed the series back in 2003, I hope you like these new pages of the last chapter of the story. Those who have no idea of what I´m talking about, well...hope you like the pages too :)

This stuff is simply gorgeous, man. Every aspect of these pages is breath taking. The exploding walls, the turned over tractor trailer, the way the boy is being held back by the spirits of the other boys. This is really excellent drawing. These are brilliant.

Thanks everybody!

Oh, man, pages from the final D&G arc! They are so big time awesome. I enjoy the huge image of Goliath smashing through the wall with debris and dust flying about from the lion's mighty impact. It's really blood-pumping exciting, and rendered the more intense with the toes on his paw spead own with unsheathed claws and his snout fiercely open like he is giving his usual explode from the chest roar. I can feel the lion's power from looking from this picture.

David's "getting possesed" dream sequence with those possesed kids of the past are beautifully colored and a little surreal-feeling, the the final image of the second page showing some struggle. The final action-packed page preview with the creepy-looking, possessed David and monster Goliath creating chaos is excellent, scary and very unnerving, but wonderfully drawn and colored. The effects with the fire, water and light is brillant craftsmanship.

So much energy in your pages! Pure sweetness!

I enjoyed those pages. The image of Goliath crashing through the holding cell wall in fieceness is my big favorite, and the pages with the main characters cause terrible choas in the streets their is my second favorite.
